Information we collect

When you use our catalog valuation calculator, catalog grade tool, or application form, we collect the information you provide — such as your name, email address, monthly revenue figures, and music catalog details. We also collect basic analytics data (page visits, referral source) via Plausible Analytics, which is privacy-friendly and does not use cookies or track individuals.

How we use it

We use your information solely to evaluate your music catalog for potential acquisition, communicate our offer, and respond to your inquiries. We do not sell, rent, or share your information with third parties except where required by law or necessary to process payments (Stripe).

Email communications

If you subscribe to The Catalog Report newsletter, we will send you bi-weekly market insights and creator tips. You can unsubscribe at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email. If you submit an application, we may contact you about your catalog and any offer we prepare.

Data retention

We retain application and valuation data for up to 24 months to support ongoing conversations about potential acquisitions. Newsletter subscriber data is retained until you unsubscribe. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.

Cookies

We use Plausible Analytics, which is cookieless and GDPR-compliant by design. We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any other tracking cookies. If you dismiss the cookie notice, a single preference cookie is stored locally in your browser.

Third-party services

We use Stripe for payment processing (for premium reports), Formspree for form submissions, and Cloudflare for hosting and security. Each of these services has its own privacy policy governing how they handle data.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete any personal data we hold about you. To exercise these rights, contact us at hello@spacemusic.io. We will respond within 30 days. If you are in the EU/EEA, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
